[Review] Tomb Raider 2013

The latest Tomb Raider game sees developer Crystal Dynamics taking on the huge burden of retelling the origins of one the most recognizable video game characters. We've all known Lara Croft as the curvy, adventurous, badass chick who spends her free time climbing ruins and reducing the Earth's endangered species population. Tomb Raider 2013 traces Lara's trial-by-fire as she evolves from a young archaeologist in her twenties, into a female Indiana Jones. Sadly, that is where the game largely fails to deliver.

[News] Sony announces PlayStation 4!

Yep, it's official. After weeks of speculation, Sony officially announced its next generation console from an event in New York yesterday. However, despite the huge hype preceding the announcement, Sony did not unveil the actual console, smashing our hopes of catching a glimpse of what it would look like. 5 years in the making, according to Lead System Architect Mark Cerny, the PlayStation 4's goal is freeing game developers from technological barriers by offering a console that was 'by game creators, for game creators'. He further stated that the architecture of the PS4 was 'like a PC, but supercharged'.

[Wallpaper] Battlefield 3 : Endgame

Be advised: There's just one month to go for the last and final DLC expansion for Battlefield 3! DICE have certainly brought something different and new with each expansion pack that they released over the last year, and I expect Endgame to be equally epic and exciting. The new Capture the Flag and Jet Superiority game modes promise to be a welcome change form the usual Conquest/Rush that we are so familiar with. Battlefield 3 has been a great experience and Premium members have definitely got their money's worth so far.

Battlefield 3: Endgame is set to release in March 2013. Watch this space.

[Review] Dead Space 3

It's finally here! And here's an exclusive review on Fraggit!

More limbs = more pain. For you.
Like the previous two titles, Dead Space 3 sees engineer badass Isaac Clarke exploring decrepit space stations and ships, while
caught in a mess of markers and necromorphs. Once again, the player is thrust into the unknown, and is expected to fight through overwhelming circumstances to progress in the game. You dismember a variety of enemies using your plasma cutter in familiar environments, and anyone who has played either of the previous titles will be able to ease into the gameplay without much trouble. However, don't let that sense of familiarity fool you. The Dead Space series is notorious for building just the right amount of suspense and delivering scares flawlessly. Even as you start to feel relaxed with the game and grow accustomed to the mechanics, the game electroshocks you back into attention by relying on every gamer's habit- to grow lazy. Just when you think you're in a safe location, you are thrust back into the action with a bang.

You've opened the last six doors without anything jumping out at you, so there can't possibly be anything behind this seventh door, right? Right?

[News] Playstation 4 to be revealed on February 20th?

Yesterday, a mysterious video was uploaded to PlayStation's YouTube page titled '#Playstation2013':

Yep, you guessed it. It's quite possible that Sony's PlayStation 4 may be ready to be announced to the public. In an online report, the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Sony's teaser was foreshadowing the announcement of the PlayStation 4. Sony on Thursday unveiled plans for a PlayStation-themed event set for Feb. 20, teasing fans to "see the future" at the event. Rumours are afoot that the new device will make its debut there, beating Microsoft Corp. to the punch in announcing its own next-generation game machine.
