This first trailer, 'Locations' shows us some of the environments that we will get to see in game, ranging from a downtown-city like area, an underground rail, a dock and even what appears to be an open highway. Definitely locations that we haven't ever encountered in previous Metal Gear titles. It will be interesting to see how elements in each surround will be incorporated into the combat, and whether it will have the same destruction quality like Battlefield 3.
The second trailer named 'Suit Overview' quite obviously goes over the different aspects of Raiden's new suit. The first 'technique' in the trailer is Blade Mode, which isn't too hard to understand. Basically, it allows you to cut through stuff in your surroundings, at the expense of fuel which can be replenished by cutting enemies and absorbing their electrolytes through the blade. Then, there's Ninja Run, where Raiden temporarily runs at breakneck speed, letting you avoid obstacles and reach and attack opponents quickly. Finally, the Enhanced AR Mode allows you see new aspects of your surroundings by highlighting enemies and objectives, even through obstacles such as walls.
The third and final trailer goes over something called 'Zandatsu'. Basically, it is a sort of finishing move where Raiden 'sees' the best angle to cut an enemy, stabs him and pulls out the enemy's repair unit. While this does look undeniably cool, players may tire of seeing the same action again and again.
