[News] Sony announces PlayStation 4!

Yep, it's official. After weeks of speculation, Sony officially announced its next generation console from an event in New York yesterday. However, despite the huge hype preceding the announcement, Sony did not unveil the actual console, smashing our hopes of catching a glimpse of what it would look like. 5 years in the making, according to Lead System Architect Mark Cerny, the PlayStation 4's goal is freeing game developers from technological barriers by offering a console that was 'by game creators, for game creators'. He further stated that the architecture of the PS4 was 'like a PC, but supercharged'.

[Wallpaper] Battlefield 3 : Endgame

Be advised: There's just one month to go for the last and final DLC expansion for Battlefield 3! DICE have certainly brought something different and new with each expansion pack that they released over the last year, and I expect Endgame to be equally epic and exciting. The new Capture the Flag and Jet Superiority game modes promise to be a welcome change form the usual Conquest/Rush that we are so familiar with. Battlefield 3 has been a great experience and Premium members have definitely got their money's worth so far.

Battlefield 3: Endgame is set to release in March 2013. Watch this space.

[News] Xbox 720 details leaked!

Details about the long awaited Xbox 720 have reportedly been leaked online, giving us a glimpse of just how powerful it could be.

According to VGleaks.com, the new Xbox 720 will have eight 1.6ghz CPU cores (similar to the PS4's design), 8 GB of  RAM and a custom DirectX 11.1 class 800-Mhz graphics processor.

The new specs for the console, which has been codenamed 'Durango' are definitely impressive and on par with a high end PC, but gamers feel that it may fall short of the PS4's capabilities. As previously rumoured, the new console also uses a x6 speed Blu-ray drive and comes with a hard drive as standard.

[Top10] Video Game Weapons: Part 2

 5. Keyblade - Kingdom Hearts series

What better way to dispatch the baddies in Kindgom Heart's expansive fantasy world than to bash them with a gigantic key? Nothing, that's what. Plus this weapon comes with perks, with the ability to do wicked combos, open any lock and have Donald Duck and Goofy as your sidekicks. Also, there is absolutely no chance of you mixing this up with your car keys, considering that it's about 4 feet long.
